All these Practices were established by Duryodhana during dice game episode

There is a word called – “What is not in Bharata, that is not in the entire world”. The Word is absolute truth. You will understand very well from today’s episode. As we narrate the Dice game episode of Mahabharata Story, you will find that Duryodhana practiced some filthy means, which are very much in use now. According to the scripts, Duryodhana was the incarnation of Kali Demon. So, this is his rule now. Hence, it is quite meaningful, if practices started by him are practiced widely now and that is happening too. The five filthy practices narrated in this episode of Mahabharata story will also narrate the entire Dice game episode of Sabha Parva. So, let us start stating the background first.

The Story behind:

This is the first mechanism, Duryodhana applied in this part of Mahabharata Story. He knew very well that he cannot make Yudhisthira play dice with Shakuni, who will win all the wealth of them by covert. So, he reached Dhritarashtra and moulded him in such a way, that he felt bound to call Pandavas for the dice game. According to Kshatriya rules, one must not deny any challenge thrown to him by a king. Dhritarashtra being the king, Yudhisthira will be bound to play the dice game. On the other hand, Dhritarashtra being the elder one, and Pandavas, always righteous in action, will never disobey their elders. Hence, Duryodhana, by blackmailing Dhritarashtra in Mahabharata Story, forced his own father to call Pandavas for the dice game.

Analysis of Wickedness:

According to Vedic rules, one must announce his own words either by his own mouth or by a messenger. Messenger even narrates all the words of a king in the version of the King himself. In fact, that person was chose to be a messenger, who would understand the mentality of a King and must narrate likewise, putting all words of his on the mouth of King. Ravana was so much an evil, Kansa was such an evil, Jarasandha was so much a wicked person, Narakasura and Andhakasura were such dangerous persons, but none did practice this type of wickedness before. Kaikayee did it in case of Rama, but she made no hiding though. Everyone knew that she asked Vanavas of Rama as boon.

Practice in Present world:

This wickedness is hard to be felt as wickedness now, as it is a common practice in the present world. In every corporate offices and its branches, in every government houses of every country, irrespective of location on the map, this practice is going on, as if it is a general practice. Everyone is eager to put his own words on other’s mouth and everyone is ready to paralyze the weaker to speak his own words as if they are his words, not of the original speaker. All these activities are meant to manipulate and ascertain success and is a world-wide practice now.

The Story Behind:

Yudhisthira was passionate about dice game. Hence, he was a better player than Duryodhana. Duryodhana knew that well and hence he employed Shakuni for playing the game on behalf of him and won the Pandavas in Mahabharata story.

Analysis of Wickedness:

Yudhisthira, in Mahabharata story, knew and even remarked that this is a wrong practice. But since the king (Dhritarashtra) didn’t object that, and since Dhritarashtra was their elder (Uncle), he must obey his order. Destiny here was overtaking Dhritarashtra and hence it forced Dhritarashtra to be a real time actor in the works, that are against the rule of Vedas, so that he can be given the punishment of destruction of Dynasty. Even Ravana himself ceased Sita Mata, even Indra himself dressed as Gautama and abused Aahalya, even Sumbha Nisumbha themselves asked to marry Devi Parvati. Duryodhana here breaks all the cuffs and involves in a rigorous sin.

Practice in Present world:

You will say that – how can this be a wrong practice? It is practiced everywhere now. Yes, this wrong and wicked practice has been imitated by the corporate firms, by the tax seekers, by the Politicians and even my the ministers, artists and everyone, while deploying personal level or corrupted level politics in society, in all countries of the world, irrespective of caste and creed. The practice of deploying others for assuring success in personal life was established and primarily practiced by Duryodhana in this part of Mahabharata story.

The Story Behind:

How Duryodhana snatched property of Pandavas with the help of dice game is known to all, but you don’t know that for the first time, property of others had been snatched by means here in Mahabharata story by Duryodhana.

Analysis of Wickedness:

Before this event, there are several incidences where wife of others had been tried to be snatched by force and every time they were badly punished too. But, snatching one’s property by means was first time practiced by Duryodhana. According to Kshatriya rules and practice, one must not snatch property by means, since that defames his glory and his might. Property of a King is not his, according to Vedas. They are all meant to rule the subjects and make the Brahmanas do researches without poverty. Property that has been snatched by sin cannot be delivered to Brahmanas and hence is an act of high level of Sin. However, due to the act of Duryodhana and his company, which was against rule of Kshatriyas in Mahabharata story, Krishna punished them well in a manner that was against Kshatriya rules and thus defaming all of them in war – eye against eye.

Practice in Present world:

Again this is a practice from Mahabharata Story, which you may think ten times to say as wickedness. Snatching other’s property by means is a common factor now, throughout the world. Even Huge nations like USA, with the disguised name of protection against terrorism (The mean), snatched countries like Afghanistan. And people find wisdom in that now. How can it be expected that they will understand this act of Duryodhana as filthy!

The Story Behind:

Nothing to say here – A Chaste woman, semi-dressed, since in her days of period, when forcefully dragged to a Hall, filled with men, and tried to be undressed and when end number of hungry jackal like men makes merry on that, there is only one word to express it and that is attempt of Gang Rape. It is said ‘attempt’ since Keshav saved the chaste woman (Draupadi) from the actual rape. Might be the highest level of Sin and for that Krishna didn’t give a natural death in battle to any of the Kaurava Chiefs in Kurukshetra war.

Analysis of Wickedness:

Story of rape is there in the pages of History, prior to Mahabharata. Numerous allegations of rape has been made on Ravana by Rishi Balmiki himself, including rape on Urvasi, the apsara. This was in fact, the worst quality of Ravana, which overshadowed his so many great qualities. Story of rape is very much there in case of Ahalya, the chaste wife of Gautama, by the chief of Celestials – Indra. But, there is not a single incidence of Gang Rape, anywhere in Indian History, except this one.

Practice in Present world:

We believe there is no need to mention that this practice is very much there in the present world and most of the powerful men in the world are also involved into it, who with the help of their power shadows their name. Thankfully, this sin is still eyed by the society as a deadly sin.

The Story Behind:

At the end of this part of Mahabharata Story, Duryodhana coerced Yudhisthira to think whether he have really lost Draupadi in dice or not. This is what Duryodhana did, by means of his wickedness and thus make sin winner over virtue on that date, for the first time. Earlier, Sin won over virtue, but only by force, but never by this type of ugly means.  Again, he coerced Dhritarashtra to think that Pandavas, if in power, will destroy Duryodhana along with his brothers. So, he was also forced to call back Pandavas, made them loose in dice and go for exile.

Analysis of Wickedness:

This win of wickedness over virtue was not tolerated by Krishna. Making the truthful proof to be false and coercing him thus, has been placed by Krishna even before Gang-rape attempt in Mahabharata Story and as a result, in the name of war, he made a fun game, where Kauravas’ Maharathis were killed by dirty means, as a fruit of their own work.

Practice in Present world:

In present day, this is a practice of a wise. Lawyers, Police and Administrators of all countries do practice the same with their collars raised. Administrators even claim appraise from public for such practices, since public call this as Diplomacy. Lawyers also get appraisal by practicing this, as they are always eager to save the criminal through this practice and always busy in proving the righteous false by the practice of the same covert. Police too puts wrong allegations on wise and righteous, most of the time intentionally, in order to protect the richer and powerful.
