Activities of Bal Krishna at Gokul is something that makes lots of TV series. At his childhood, one of the main activities of his was to kill the Demon army of Kansa. Those includes some enormous and most powerful demons, with lots of black-magical skills. Here is the list of those killed by Bal Krishna, as described in Bhagabat Purana. Many TV Series do telecast other demons too, but they are not mentioned in the main book.

Putna was the first of the demon army of Kans, who came to Gokul to slay the baby Krishna. She came to Bal Krishna in the form of a babysitter and intended to feed him her poisonous breast milk. Krishna, the almighty in incarnated form, drank all her breast milk and ultimately slayed her with breast pain. At the time of death, she turned back to her demonic form. When people of Gokul found the Bal Krishna to be playing at around her breast, who was lying with a huge body, they became very much afraid. Sakatasur is the second demon that was sent by Kans to kill Bal Krishna. He was someone who can’t be seen with naked eye, but how can he prevent his own view to the Lord of Lords? As he reached with a cart to baby Krishna Kanhaia, with one kick, made playfully, the demon vanished in air.

Trinavat was the third demon who approached Bal Krishna. His approach was when Krishna was little older. Garga Samhita tells his age then to be five. His approach was with a terrible storm, who made a severe damage on Gokul and picked up Krishna. But, as he picked the Lord, he became so much heavy that ultimately, the demon drops from a great height and that smashed him to death.

Bakasur was the brother to Putna and was shaped like a crane. With his huge beak, he tempered different parts of Gokul. Unable to find Krishna, when his torture crossed all limits, Bal Krishna, separated his beaks by stretching them apart.

Aghasur was the brother to Bakasur. He was a huge snake, who swallowed all the Gwalpals (cowboy) of Gokul. Krishna also came into his mouth, to save his cowboy mates. Reaching there, when all the mates of his fainted due to enormous heat inside, bal Krishna expanded himself to huge form and thus tore apart the stomach of the giant snake, killing him.

He, in his earlier birth was the son of Prahlada, father of Banasur. He was cursed for his fondness to lust and lusty music to turn into ass. Since, Prahlada was given a boon that none of his dynasty will be killed by Lord himself, Dhenukasura was not directly killed by Bal Krishna, but he directed Balram to kill him.

The next approach of Kans to Krishna was through Kaliya, the king of snakes with multiple heads and with immense power of vomiting poison. His poison was such that he polluted entire Yamuna, from the middle level to the auspicious place, where she meets Ganges. Kanha, reasoning to bring back the ball of their game went down to Yamuna and destroyed the ego of Kaliya’s power. Bal Krishna also assured him that if he allows him to dance on his several heads, Garura, from whom he feared, will never touch him. Bal Krishna Kanhaiya danced on his head over Yamuna. That removed all the poison, extracted by him and also made spots of his feet on his head, by seeing which Garura would never touch him.

He was the last demon, who was sent by Kans and he was a half horse. The lower portion of the demon was horse and he was the son of Hayagriva, who was killed by lord with his Matsya Incarnation. Bal Krishna made a tough fight with him and threw him away of the earth. He was extremely intelligent and that made Krishna fight long with him.
