The essence of Yoga is dilution – Dilution of the mind of yours in the Universal Soul (Paramatma). Gyan Yoga or even Karma Yoga can take you to the destination, but the journey there is much tougher. It is better to use those form of Yogas as your sunglass and water bottle in your Journey. The form of Yoga that can make you understand and locate your destination perfectly and can take you dynamically there is Bhakti Yoga.

Although understanding Bhakti is very easy, as that is the most simplest form of Yoga, but lack of proper understanding of the same, makes it complicated before the society. Today, in our lesson, we will relate Bhakti Yoga with Life in such a way, that will make you realize, what it is and also what life is. However, it will be better for you, if you go through the earlier lesson on Bhakti Yoga, before going through this one. This will help you in your understanding.

You have gone through Gyan Yoga and got the essential lessons on truth. You also went through the scripts to clarify and add butter to the knowledge of truth. Thinking deeply on those, you went to meditating stage too. After long  hours of meditation, you learnt that the only existing one in the universe is the Universal Soul (Paramatma) and none else. You also learnt that works that you do all generates attachment towards material world and takes you away from the realization of the truth.

However, you also learnt out from there, that Karma or work cannot be stopped as that stops life itself. Hence, you decide to practice Karma Yoga, where you abandon all material attachments and all expectations related to fruits of work. So, till here, you are losing everything and gaining none. But, life ultimately is to attain, is to gain and is to be enriched with hostile realization, and that is the fruit of works (Karmafal). How to get that fruit now? That fruit is available when you enter the room of Bhakti Yoga.

Hence, if Yoga can be regarded as a tree, Gyan Yoga is the mechanism of receiving foods from soil and air and to grow in size; Karma Yoga is the expansion of Branches and to bear leaves and flowers on them; while Bhakti Yoga is to get the fruits that is risen from the flowers, on stems. Hath Yoga or the Manipulated form of Yoga can give you fame and with that fame you can gather material attachments at extreme, but Bhakti Yoga gives you the taste of real nectar of life, and believe me this nectar is even more viral than the supreme most material realization. How? Let me explain with a quote:

Inspiration to anything is the ultimate booster as 90% of the journey is covered then and there, when you are inspired. The quote that inspires all Bhakti Yoga practitioners is one famous one from Lord Ramakrishna:

Why do you run for the experience of intercourse? What is there in it? Bhakti is such where every skin pore of yours turns into a vagina and the Universal Soul (Paramatma) makes intercourse through all those pores.

Just evaluate this statement. Every single human on the earth rushes, directly or indirectly, motivated by the pleasant experience of intercourse. Just imagine that pleasure to be multiplied by trillions. That is the experience of Bhakti Yoga. That is the experience of salvation. That is the experience of Nirvana. Now, you decide which one you seek?

In fact, life itself is naturally directed towards that supreme pleasure and life is meant to attain that only. Dilution of mind to Soul (Paramatma) is nothing different from the experience of intercourse – the only difference lies in the magnitude. The Later one is trillion times powerful and generates so much pleasure, that takes one to a transcendental and subtle state, permanently. In other words, life itself can be explained in best format, while related to wedding. That relation will make you understand what life actually is and what exactly the fruit of Bhakti Yoga is.

Remind of the time when you first met your partner. Remind the time, when you felt eager to unite with him or her. The experience of Bhakti Yoga is just the amplified form of that phase, nothing else. Through your entire life, you tried to identify what your opposite sexed person loves to find in you. You adopted that within yourself. You also learnt what behaviour of yours is preferred by the people of your opposite sex. You followed those through your work. The first one is Gyan Yoga and the next one is Karma Yoga.

Do you understand now that, you always remained a yogi throughout your life, knowingly or unknowingly? Yes that is the truth. Every Human or rather every creature is a natural Yogi. Through different assumptions of life, we are all making hypothesis about the truth of life and thus following Gyan Yoga. On the other hand, we all plan for a work schedule, either that is haphazard one, goal oriented one or even directed by habits or simply by lust or fame or gold. Whatever the case is, aren’t all human searching for the right framework of doing work?

So, everyone is one track. It is true that some trains are closer to the platforms and passengers boarding there can see the platform with naked eye. But that doesn’t essentially means that other trains that are far away from platform are on wrong track. After several hypothesis on work, on knowledge of life and truth, the ultimate truth reveals. As everyone are making hypothesis, how can they be out of track?

Meeting your Partner – Bhakti Built up

The real hunt starts and the haphazard hunts ends when you meet your partner. You know him or her, love her or his behaviour, nature of looking at the world, nature of his or her look at you and everything. These all inspires you to reside with him or her for the rest of life. This all inspires you to unite with him or her too, and to start residing with your partner permanently from that time. This is the summary of Bhakti too. You were searching for that one and find the Parmatma. You wish to reside with that Universal one forever and for that desperately fond to unite with her.

You fix the date of uniting and call that as wedding date. You start arranging everything for the date – special dresses, special occasions, gladly inviting all to declare your uniting date, gladdened by thus you arrange grand feast on that day. All these are the dress-ups or Abhishar and is a vital part of Bhakti Yoga. Finally comes the day of uniting – your wedding date. Your guests do appear. They enjoy the feast, the ceremony and everything, but your mind, as the clock goes on and closes the night, feels eager and eager for the union. Everyone bids goodbye and goes away wishing you luck. Still, you remain far away from the union with your mate, although a matter of few hours, due to customs. As the customs are over, your eagerness remains atop, but then also you have to wait, for your mate wills to give you some gift. At last comes the hour of union and you dilute yourself to your mate and stays with him or her forever.

This is the life too. Your eagerness for union with the Parmatma remains ever embedded in your mind. As you feel eagerness through all your conscious, sub-conscious and unconscious mind for the union to Parmatma, your journey through Bhakti Yoga starts. You pass through different phases to purify your mind – reside with Sadhus (saints); mantras (Prayers) are offered; you serve pure food to all (Bhog). At the end, your mind gets eager to be united with Parmatma. You, within your mind, get into meditation and get dissolved into transcendental state and ultimately dissolve yourself within your Parmatma. This is life, this is the path of Yoga and this is Bhakti Yoga. Entire life of yours (in this body and previous and future) is going through Abhishar (dress up) and finally unites on that auspicious day.
